Description

The AFRA water pump is designed with robust construction features to ensure durability and efficient performance. The pump body and support are made of heavy-duty cast iron, providing excellent structural integrity and stability. Its motor housing is constructed from aluminum, offering lightweight durability and effective heat dissipation. A brass impeller ensures efficient water flow and corrosion resistance, while the motor shaft combines carbon steel with AISI304 stainless steel for enhanced strength and protection against wear and rust. The pump is equipped with a ceramic/graphite mechanical seal for reliable, leak-proof operation and uses high-quality bearings—6201 RZ/6201 RA for 0.5HP models and 6202 RA/6202 RZ for 0.75HP and 1HP models.

It features insulation class B and IP44-rated protection, along with a built-in thermal protector to prevent overheating during extended operation. Designed for continuous duty (service class S1), the pump is powered by a two-pole induction motor and is available in both single-phase versions. It performs efficiently in ambient temperatures up to +40°C and can handle liquids up to +60°C, with a maximum suction capacity of 8 meters—making it ideal for a wide range of residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.
